FINESTRAT, Costa Blanca
Finestrat is a charming green town located between the Costa Blanca and the mountains in the province of Alicante, Valencian Autonomous Community. Unlike the bustling nearby city of Benidorm, Finestrat offers a tranquil atmosphere and is considered an elite suburban area. The town is uniquely positioned, with its historic part situated approximately three kilometres inland at an elevation of 238 meters above sea level, nestled near the Sierra Cortina mountain range. Finestrat boasts a picturesque landscape, featuring the majestic Puig Campana mountain and a coastline that stretches about 7 kilometres, with beaches marked by UNESCO blue flags for their exceptional cleanliness. The town is divided into two distinct areas: the old town, characterized by narrow streets and colourful houses, and the modern coastal region known as "Beniyork," which includes impressive structures like the Gran Hotel Bali, the tallest hotel in Europe
